The colors are wrong but oh well, here's Hatsune Miku from the 'Rolling Girl' pv. I have a bunch of favorite vocaloid songs but 'Rolling Girl' is one of my favorites. I've been meaning to color this sketch for awhile.
I was messing with markers and value stuff and ended up making a pretty ominous looking portrait of James, a character from the 2nd webcomic project that I've been working on.
I looked over some of the written outline the other day and it made me even more excited about this project!!! Now I just have to find the time to keep working on it in-between everything else, haha...
Two more characters from my second webcomic project that I've been working on for awhile. Riley and James are best buds even though they're vastly different personality wise. Their friendship is actually going to be pretty interesting to deal with. I should post more pictures of these guys and Cali, they don't get enough screen time. Working in this simpler style was a lot of fun too! I may do something with it again in the future.
Transpose Operator character sketches are back!
This time featuring Luka- He's actually one of the 3 main characters and will be showing up in Chapter 4. He's kinda one of my favorites and I've been holding back on posting images of him since he won't be showing up for a little while buuuuut... OH WELL.
He's pretty much had the same design since I first created him years ago, well aside from his outfit, but everything else has remained consistent... now that I think about it Karin too, I guess I just knew what both of them needed to look like. It's always really cool when a character just clicks like that... but the opposite is extremely frustrating...
ANYWAY- here's the link to the Transpose Operator info post concerning updates just in case you missed it: http://www.transposeoperator.com/?p=1097
And if you've never read Transpose Operator before - GO DO IT- GO DO IT RIGHT NOW- http://www.transposeoperator.com/
These guys again. I have another set of Grimoire characters in this style, gonna finish them in the next few days. Combining analog and digital coloring is quite fun.
I've been super busy lately working on a lot of things at once, it's really exhilarating to have so much to do! I'm probably going to be setting up commissions guidelines and putting up a donate button on the Transpose Operator website soon, I had been meaning to do it for quite some time but I couldn't decide on making a custom button or using the default and then time got away from me. I have some fun ideas for donation incentives that I'm pretty excited about.
